The Claydon Grain Sampler is a simple to fit instrument that is placed on the back of a loader bucket. Every time a bucket is tipped into the lorry a small sub-sample, about half the size of a coffee cup, is removed from the main bucket. The sampler can take up to 50 sub-samples giving an incredibly accurate sample of what was loaded onto the lorry!
The sampler can than be emptied out into a container and labelled. Half the sample can go with the lorry driver and given to the merchant while half the sample can be kept on farm and signed off by the lorry driver. |
If there is a deduction made on the load, the farm sample can be tested for the problem and an argument can be put to the merchant.
The sampler is supplied with fitting and operating instructions as well as a template for easy fitting.
