Coronavirus Update

We are monitoring the Covid 19 / Coronavirus situation on a daily basis and continue to follow Government guidelines and advice.  We are aiming to support our customer and dealer network to the best of our ability whilst taking very seriously their safety, and the safety of our staff and suppliers and our wider business network.  In addition to hand-washing, hand-sanitising, self isolation and social distancing guidelines we have instructed all staff to follow, we are operating as follows:

Sales staff:  home-working and contact with customers and business partners via email, telephone, text, messaging, video messaging only, unless farm visits are deemed essential, in which case these must be requested or by appointment only and with prior confirmation that all parties and those with whom they are in contact are not self-isolating or displaying any symptoms of Coronavirus and that any visit will be restricted to a total of two people at a distance of 2 metres wherever possible, outside.  Machinery set-offs will be carried out via telephone or video messaging wherever possible.

Service staff: home-working and contact with customers and partners via email, telephone, text, messaging, video messaging only unless farm visits are vital, in which case these must be requested or by appointment only and with prior confirmation that all parties and those with whom they are in contact are not self-isolating or displaying any symptoms of Coronavirus and that any visit will be restricted to a total of two people at a distance of 2 metres wherever possible, outside. 

Stores and parts staff: open for business. 2-metre distancing guidelines to be followed, regular wiping of surfaces with anti-bacterial sanitisers. Where possible, external doors to remain open to allow flow-through of air.  All customers should be placing their orders through dealers via telephone or email with no collections in person.  When operating forklifts, telehandlers, tractors, hands to be washed afterwards.  When dealing with third party suppliers or transporters, use own pens or stylus pens to sign paperwork and keep to 2 metre distance.  Increased cleaning schedule in place.  Staggered breaks and limiting gatherings in common areas to three people.

Office-based staff: home-working, with work telephone, email, mobile, vpn access – business as usual. 

When at home, all staff are to follow government policy on only leaving the house for essential food and drink items, to exercise once per day and medical reasons.
