Claydon has an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Service Technician to provide full support to the After Sales Service Manager with after sales customer repairs and/or service. The role may involve national and/or international travel outside of normal working hours in accordance with the company’s strategic plan in an ever-changing marketplace. The role will include visiting dealers and distributors to conduct training on machine set-ups, service training, attendance at UK and international events and exhibitions to set up the company stand and position machinery, ensuring it is safe and presentable.
You will be involved in all aspects of the Service Technician role and you will have:-
- proven service technician experience, ideally in the agricultural machinery sector
- good knowledge of hydraulics and electric systems
- agricultural dealer and manufacturer experience
- time management skills
- the ability to work in a team and follow instructions
- able to contingency plan, problem solve and implement changes
- excellent communication and presentational skills at all levels
- good knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint.
